IMPORTANT NOTE ON MID-TERMS

  • Mid-terms are typically made available for an extended period of time on the day they are scheduled. For example, an exam may be open from 9:00 am until 11:59 pm. This means that the exam link will be active between these times, however

  • All mid-term exams have a 90 minute time limit, after which time your attempt will be saved and the exam will close, regardless of when the exam closes. For example, this means that if you start your attempt half an hour before the exam is scheduled to close, you will only have 30 minutes to write and will be kicked out when the exam closes and your answers will be automatically submitted.

  • The quiz/mid-term activity saves your answer every 2 minutes as well as each time you move to a new page in the exam, therefore

  • If your browser freezes/crashes or you lose connection, you can close your browser or restart your computer and re-access the exam. You will be able to continue your attempt, although you will have lost time as the 90 minute timer does not stop once it starts.
